As you might have noticed, I am a regular co traveller on the route that Isaac Shapiro travels.
I love to settle with him during his retreats.
He said last night in the Muiderkerk during the meeting there (my summary):
People want to get enlightened. With the expectation that it will be fun. And it is.
But what we were/are not fully aware of is this: realizing that we are Consciousness is the easy part.
After that moment each and everything that has been suppressed will come up. And it has to. For me that is a love affair. And it is a challenge. Over and over again, in fact constantly being fully willing to lovingly be with life, in life, as it is.

Going through old papers I just found an old picture from Isaac doing his being.
It was the time, probably just before the turn of the century, where everyone got enlightened, meaning ‘they/we saw who we are’ and then the fading away of it started to happen, basicly because there was a clinging to the euforia of the first seeing.

Slowly, slowly, the awareness unfolded and is still unfolding that the realisation that we are Consciousness necessarily is followed by a dance on the sometimes sleeping, sometimes hot and wild volcano of the personal, familial, national and collective unconscious. (I wrote more about the developments in Isaac’s retreat’s here).

Here is the ol’pic:
